  • Moongool Charolais

Since our first conception with the Charolais breed, our focus has been to provide fertile and structurally sound cattle, which of course equals LONGEVITY.

Add growth, softness, adequate fat cover and most importantly the ability to fatten on natural grass at a young age and you have A COMPLETE PACKAGE FOR THE COMMERCIAL PRODUCER.

Because we are both a stud and commercial enterprise we carefully trial and monitor the performance of our entire herd. We have proved that Charolais do far better in all situations than the numerous other breeds that we run here at “Moongool”. It’s always good to receive positive feedback from our many clients. Our bulls’ progeny had much success again in 2011 in numerous carcase and prime cattle competitions, especially in central Queensland. We also had pleasing results at various country shows and we won the most successful Charolais Exhibitor for 2011 at the Brisbane Ekka, along with Reserve Junior Champion Bull and Grand Champion Charbray Bull.
